Job Summary
Plan and implement engaging early childhood curricula by observing children's interests and collaborating with faculty to develop creative lessons. Communicate daily with parents via mobile apps and personal discussions to share children's achievements and adventures. Maintain a safe, smooth classroom environment by calmly addressing stressful situations while multi-tasking, ensuring all children receive proper care and supervision. Develop professional relationships with children, parents, and other childcare professionals to foster a supportive learning community.
Required Qualifications
- High school degree
- Has successfully completed state-required pre-service training
- Meets background check eligibility
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children for the facilitation of programs, child safety, and potential emergency situations. For Infant and Young Toddler Teachers, must be able to properly lift infants into and out of a crib
