Job Summary
Enhance lesson plans and activities in collaboration with Lead and Assistant Teachers while providing flexible classroom support to ensure a consistent educational experience. Organize engaging classroom materials and learning centers, then supervise and engage with children indoors and outdoors to ensure their safety, well-being, and social development. Offer personalized attention, foster an inclusive environment, and maintain clean classrooms adhering to health, safety, and licensing regulations. Assist with daily care routines and communicate transparently with families about children's progress. This role supports the implementation of engaging programs at the Goddard School in Hudson, helping every child become a joyful, confident learner.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Empathy and compassion for young children
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work collaboratively with staff, children and families
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. in connection with the handling of children
- Pass required state background checks
- Meet state minimum education, experience and credential requirements
