Job Summary
Resource Teacher responsible for planning and delivering instruction aligned with district/state requirements, developing and implementing instructional plans, selecting and modifying materials for diverse learners including those with special needs, utilizing data to inform instruction, maintaining a positive learning environment, applying behavior management techniques, ensuring test security, collaborating with students, parents, and staff, and contributing to school improvement initiatives; requires Florida Educator's Certificate and at least three years teaching experience, with duties spanning lesson planning, curriculum development, assessment, and professional collaboration.
Required Qualifications
- A valid Florida Educator's Certificate
- Three (3) years of successful experience in teaching
- Knowledge of curriculum and/or discipline program design, implementation and evaluation in the assigned area as reflected in job performance assessments
- Satisfactory clearance of a criminal history records check and drug screening
