Job Summary
Assist in the educational and social development of students under the direction of classroom teachers, carrying over therapy routines and strategies. Implement behavior plans, collect data, and monitor student progress across all settings while supporting the Individual Education Plan (IEP). Provide academic support, facilitate toileting and feeding needs, and safely lift, position, and transfer students. Monitor attention, work completion, and social navigation, offering communication device assistance and language modeling based on individual needs. Perform duties as assigned by school administration and classroom teachers.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Experience working with children/students
- Experience assisting in program implementation
- Ability to work with professional staff
Desired Qualifications
- Associates degree or higher
