Job Summary
Interventional Resource Nurses assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized nursing care for adult/geriatric/pediatric patients in accordance with nursing practice standards. Duties are performed in alignment with Mercy Service Standards and mission/values. The role requires RN licensure, 1 year of experience, and relevant certifications (BLS with possible ACLS/NRP/ENPC/TNCC/CPHON/OCN/PALS/PEARS/S.T.A.B.L.E./C-EFM as required by unit). The position is full-time at Mercy Surgery Center in Oklahoma City with physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs and prolonged standing.
Required Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program
- Licensure: Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
- Experience: 1 year of experience.
- Certifications: Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association or successful completion of course within 30 days of hire. One or more of the certifications below may be required based on the position/unit hired to, or acquisition of certification within department required timeframe: ACLS, NRP, ENPC, TNCC, CPHON, OCN, PALS, PEARS, S.T.A.B.L.E., C-EFM, Other unit-specific certifications as required.
- Physical Requirements: Position requires the ability to push, pull, and/or lift 50 lbs on a regular basis; prolonged standing and walking; ability to grip, reach, bend, kneel, twist, and squat.
