Job Summary
Resource Respiratory Therapist with acute-care responsibilities in Charlotte: administer and manage oxygen delivery, initiate and monitor mechanical and non-invasive ventilation, perform diagnostic procedures, evaluate current therapies, document results in EMR, communicate with the health-care team, provide patient education, and operate within regulatory guidelines. Requires AMA-approved school graduate, RRT credential, state licensure, BLS, and at least 2 years of critical care experience; must work in a hospital ED/acute setting with proficiency in respiratory care procedures and blood gas analysis. Required Qualifications
- Graduate of an AMA-approved school of Respiratory Care
- Associate's RRT or RRT Equivalent
- Credentialed as a Registered Respiratory Therapist by the National Board for Respiratory Care
- Licensed as a Respiratory Care Practitioner in the state of applicable state
- BLS required per policy guidelines
- 2 years' critical care experience
