Job Summary
Registered Nurse (RN) in outpatient medical oncology providing direct patient care across the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation with an interdisciplinary team. Responsible for developing individualized plans of care, coordinating education and referrals, directing care delivery, maintaining timely documentation, and adhering to licensure requirements and professional standards. Requires BSN as of 4/27/2025 and current state RN licensure; BLS certification; ability to coordinate with patients, families, physicians, and other disciplines; strong critical thinking and care coordination skills.
Required Qualifications
- Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in state of practice
- Valid compact licenses must be transferred to the state of practice within 60 days of the start of employment
- BSN within four years of hire per update 4/27/2025
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification for healthcare providers
