Job Summary
Assess critically ill patients across CVICU, SICU, and MICU environments, prioritizing safety risks and reporting abnormal data to physicians. Implement evidence-based care plans with multidisciplinary teams, providing individualized education and managing discharge referrals. Document nursing processes accurately in electronic medical records and respond immediately to emergency situations requiring controlled precision. Evaluate care effectiveness continuously through rounding, handoffs, and transfer protocols to ensure patient outcomes align with established goals.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BSN
- Ohio licensure to practice nursing
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
- 75% participation in staff meetings
- 75% participation in council meetings
- 100% on-time completion and attendance for annual education day
- Current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio
- BLS certification prior to patient contact
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
- Certification in area of clinical specialty expected within five years of eligibility
Desired Qualifications
