Job Summary
Assess critically ill patients across CVICU, SICU, and MICU environments, implementing evidence-based care plans and conducting holistic safety evaluations. Delegate nursing actions, respond to emergency situations with precision, and perform ongoing patient and family education aligned with multidisciplinary team goals. Document care accurately in the electronic medical record, maintain competency through required certifications like ACLS, and mentor peers while participating in performance improvement initiatives.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BSN
- current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
Desired Qualifications
- MSN or DNP
- Certification specific to work area of professional practice
- Membership in professional organizations
