Job Summary
Assess critically ill patients across CVICU, SICU, and MICU units, implementing evidence-based care plans and prioritizing multidisciplinary goals. Document nursing interventions and patient responses in electronic medical records while ensuring timely handoffs using SBAR protocols. Evaluate care effectiveness through continuous rounds and adjust plans based on patient and family feedback. Lead unit activities, mentor peers, and participate in performance improvement projects to support professional growth and patient safety.
Required Qualifications
- RN
- BSN
- current licensure to practice nursing in Ohio
- BLS certification
- ACLS certification within 6 months of hire in step-down and ICU areas
Desired Qualifications
- MSN or DNP
- Certification specific to work area of professional practice
- Membership in professional organizations
