Resource Pool RN - Main ICU - Full Time - Nights

Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate care for critically ill patients across CVICU, SICU, and MICU environments while floating between units as staffing needs dictate. Perform holistic assessments of physical, psychosocial, and spiritual needs; recognize abnormal data; and report changes to physicians and charge RNs. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team using SBAR handoffs to communicate patient status, establish individualized goals, and initiate discharge planning. Provide evidence-based interventions, delegate tasks appropriately, and respond to emergency situations with precision. Document the nursing process accurately in the electronic medical record and maintain competency through required certifications and staff meetings. Mentor peers, participate in performance improvement projects, and support professional growth for staff and students.
