Job Summary
Provides comprehensive patient care through the creation and implementation of individualized care plans, monitoring patient progress, administering medications, and performing nursing procedures including IV starts and blood administration. Communicates effectively with the healthcare team to ensure continuity of care, documents accurately in compliance with regulations, and may oversee new employees. Requires current RN license in Indiana and specific certifications within the required timeframe.
Required Qualifications
- Graduate from an accredited school of nursing by date of hire to the position
- RN license in the state of Indiana by date of hire to the position
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support within six (6) months of hire (American Heart Association)
- Basic Life Safety (American Heart Association)
- NRP
- S.T.A.B.L.E. for Nursery staff
Desired Qualifications
- One (1) year as a Registered Nurse in a hospital setting
