Resource Planning and Scheduling Administrator

Job Summary
Resource Planning and Scheduling Administrator leads forecasting and staffing planning activities, creates staffing models based on forecasted volumes, and provides scheduling support for associate activities, training, PTO, and issue resolution. The role monitors intra-day adherence to staffing models, reallocates resources to meet client demand based on real-time activity and service levels, and serves as the primary business owner and point of contact for internal departments. It also includes generating standard and ad hoc reports, analyzing trends, and leading week-ahead and month-ahead discussions to optimize resource utilization. Strong analytical, quantitative, and communication skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office (Access, PowerPoint, Excel) and a proactive, detail-oriented approach are required.
Required Qualifications
- An undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of training and experience.
- Minimum of two years related work experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving/resolution skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact and negotiate with peers and management, and make sound recommendations under demanding conditions.
- Strong quantitative and technical aptitude; Proactive approach to problem identification and resolution.
- Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Access, PowerPoint and Excel.
- Independent, initiative driven, self-starter, and team player.
- Strong people, leadership, prioritization, and communication skills.
- Demonstrates attention to detail.
- Knowledge of Six Sigma/Vanguard Unmatchable Excellence methodology preferred.
- Knowledge of broker dealers and transfer agents preferred.
