Resource Nurse

Deliver high-quality, evidence-based nursing care to patients in acute units including medical-surgical, telemetry, and intensive care. Serve as a clinical resource for nursing staff by advising on complex cases and performing ultrasound-guided IV insertions. Float between units based on patient acuity and census, while responding to emergency situations and code events. Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient care, assist with onboarding and mentoring new staff, and conduct concurrent and retrospective audits of nursing documentation. Ensure accurate, timely documentation of all activities and participate in quality improvement initiatives related to vascular access and infection prevention. Maintain current knowledge of hospital protocols and regulatory compliance standards.
