Job Summary
Resource Nurse provides comprehensive health services to students and staff within the Attleboro Public Schools. Responsibilities include health assessment and care, first aid and emergency care, managing care plans for students with medical needs, medication administration, health education and promotion, documentation, and collaboration with other nurses, support staff, administration, students, families, and community resources, while aligning with Massachusetts guidelines and school health program policies.
Required Qualifications
- Current Licensed Massachusetts Registered Nurses (RN)
- Minimum: Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN)
- DESE Certification as a School Nurse or in the process
- CPR/AED First Aid certified
- 2-3 years Nursing experience in school nursing or related field such as pediatrics or community health preferred
