Job Summary
Resource Nurse role providing clinical support across nursing units, acting as a clinical expert and resource to healthcare team members. Responsibilities include advanced clinical knowledge and practice, supporting primary nurses with high-acuity/critically ill patients, responding to emergencies/code situations, ensuring documentation and adherence to standards, mentoring staff, and participating in educational initiatives. Requires Massachusetts RN license, BSN preferred, 5 years nursing experience with CCU/ED exposure, and BLS/ACLS/PALS certifications; travel within assigned areas and rotating shifts including weekends/holidays. Located at Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth in the US.
Required Qualifications
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse in Massachusetts
- BSN (preferred)
- Five years as a Registered Nurse
- Acute care experience preferred
- 2 years of Critical Care or Emergency Department experience
- AHA BLS
- AHA ACLS
- AHA PALS
