Job Summary

Conduct intakes and strength/needs assessments to identify immediate interventions for individuals involved in the criminal-legal system. Triage community referrals by connecting clients to appropriate agencies based on eligibility criteria and program needs. Promote smooth connections to housing, employment, behavioral health, and other services while troubleshooting barriers to access. Maintain complete documentation of activities and reports through computerized entry in accordance with program standards. Collaborate with JusticeLink staff, community partners, and the Public Defender's office to coordinate services and share information. Keep current with community resources, eligibility requirements, and training related to reducing recidivism and cultural awareness. Attend regular peer group meetings for networking and information sharing to optimize care management.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma
  • Willingness and ability to travel between multiple locations of the diversion services center (community, Courthouse, jail) and service provider offices as required to meet client needs
  • Flexibility for various JusticeLink events or meetings that may occur evenings or weekends

Desired Qualifications

  • Associates Degree
  • Previous experience with criminal-legal system impacted clients and/or engaging culturally diverse populations in social services
  • Lived experience navigating criminal justice system
  • Knowledge of community resources and services
  • Professional courtesy empathetic to the diverse situation and needs of individuals in the criminal legal system
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Careful attention to detail
  • Skill in operating a personal computer and smartphone applications
  • Frequent phone communication with Tulsa residents
  • Ability to exchange accurate information over the phone, email, use an enterprise SMS text messaging platform, and face to face
  • Constant operation of computer, phones and other office productivity tools
  • Attend regular peer group meetings for networking and information sharing for optimal care management and navigation
  • Keep current with community resources and their respective eligibility requirements
