Job Summary
Resource Navigator at Hope Network performs eligibility screenings, intakes, orientations, and required assessments; maintains participant records and data entry; facilitates training classes and group sessions (e.g., Cognitive Self Change, employability skills, parent support, and community workshops); provides guidance, advocacy, and referrals to connect participants with community resources such as healthcare, housing, food, education, and employment opportunities; monitors participant progress from intake through successful employment; serves as a case manager/employment specialist for justice-involved adults in the Kent County Jail and/or Kent County Probation Office; obtains and maintains clearance to access the Kent County Juvenile Detention Center; work schedule is Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. with occasional evenings and weekends for training; requires a high school diploma or equivalent (Bachelor's preferred) and 2+ years in human services or related field; valid driver’s license.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred
- 2+ years of experience in human services, workforce development, or related field
- Strong knowledge of employment practices, community resources, and social service systems
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
