Job Summary
Resource Navigator to support the State of Alaska Disaster Case Management Program. Responsibilities include helping disaster survivors identify and access recovery resources, educate on services and eligibility, complete referrals, coordinate with government, nonprofit, tribal, faith-based, and community partners, assist with applications and documentation, follow up on referrals, maintain accurate records, participate in outreach and recovery events, ensure confidentiality and data protection, and support survivors with AFN considerations. Requires strong customer service and interpersonal skills, trauma-informed and survivor-centered approach, and ability to work with diverse populations across office, shelter, virtual, and field environments. Local travel within Alaska and potential evening/weekend hours may be required; associate degree in a related field preferred and minimum two years of applicable experience.
Required Qualifications
- Associate's degree preferred
- Minimum of two (2) years of experience in case management, social services, community outreach, disaster recovery, housing assistance, behavioral health, or related human services programs
- Experience working directly with clients, survivors, or vulnerable populations preferred
- Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and data management systems
- Ability to pass a criminal background check
