Job Summary
The Resource Medical Assistant will perform clinical tasks to support patient care, including patient rooming, vital signs, medical documentation, patient communications, medication administration, specimen collection, and assisting with physician procedures. Responsibilities also include managing patient outreach, scheduling follow-ups, and handling referrals. Candidates should have at least one year of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant, a High School diploma or equivalent, and a Medical Assistant diploma, along with current certification for Basic Life Support.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- Medical Assistant Diploma from an approved school/institution or equivalent documented training
- Minimum of one (1) year of experience as a Clinical Medical Assistant
- Current American Heart Association Certification for Basic Life Support for Healthcare Providers
