Job Summary
Resource Manager at MBE CPAs to lead workflow planning, scheduling, and resource allocation across Tax and Client Accounting Services teams. Focus on balancing workloads, optimizing utilization, and providing actionable reporting and insights. Collaborate with department leaders to anticipate staffing needs, solve capacity challenges, monitor utilization, and support forecasting and external staffing as needed. Drive process improvements, reduce bottlenecks, and support recruiting and development initiatives to ensure strong client service outcomes. This highly strategic role emphasizes efficiency, cross-functional collaboration, and scalable staffing solutions, with hybrid or remote options depending on experience.
Required Qualifications
- 4-5 years work experience in logistics, resource management or related field; CPA firm experience highly valued
- Demonstrated ability to develop and implement systems and comprehensive solutions to resource management challenges
- Exceptional communication, influencing and analytical skills; thrives on collaboration
- Applies practical cause-and-effect and systems thinking
- Strong business acumen; ability to learn quickly about company business and related strategic growth and profit drivers
- Familiarity with forecasting processes and tools
- Service oriented with the strength to make difficult decisions and challenge norms
