Job Summary
Resource Family Specialist I/II/III – Kinnections in Tulsa, OK. Focus on adoption services, recruiting and preparing prospective adoptive families, and assisting with the adoption application process. All new employees complete the Child Welfare Core Academy Training. Travel is extensive; must have a valid driver’s license and maintain car insurance. Salary ranges by level (I/II/III) with annual state employee benefits; a Master's in Social Work yields a 5% salary incentive. On-call rotation and potential bonuses augment compensation.
Required Qualifications
- Completion of 90 hours from an accredited college or university.
- OR 3 years of experience related to child welfare work.
- OR a combination of education and experience.
- Child Welfare Specialist, Level II requires a bachelor's degree (in any field) or one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
- Child Welfare Specialist, Level III requires a Master's degree or a Bachelor's degree plus one year of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist or two years of experience as a Child Welfare Specialist.
