Resource Family Developer/Foster Care Advocate

Recruit, assess, and license prospective foster parents by conducting home studies, reference checks, and interviews in compliance with Indiana Department of Child Services regulations. Coordinate pre-service and ongoing training for foster families while providing advocacy, problem-solving support, and regular communication to strengthen caregiving skills and promote retention. Build relationships with churches, community organizations, and referral agencies to increase awareness of foster care services through presentations, cold calls, and community events. Collaborate with internal staff and placing agencies to facilitate successful child and family matches, maintain accurate licensing documentation, and monitor recruitment and retention efforts. This role requires a Christian with strong convictions, a Bachelor's degree, and three years of supervised casework experience. Full-time, 40+ hours per week with on-call rotation and occasional evening or weekend hours.
