Job Summary
Deliver equipment, supplies, and materials for event-related IT/AV functions, including setup and teardown of temporary TVs, audio systems, and staging layouts. Adjust event setups, monitor on-demand changes, and serve as the facility IT/AV contact to ensure proper event configuration. Move, pickup, deliver, and install equipment and materials as assigned, while assisting with facility improvements like cable pulling, labeling, phone line delivery, and audio repairs. Provide excellent customer service to patrons and assist with large-scale events such as athletic competitions and concerts. Requires a flexible schedule with potential weekend, evening, and holiday work.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma
- 1 year of industry relevant experience
- Bachelor's degree in Sports Management, IT focus, Audio/Video production, or other related fields
- 1 year of industry relevant experience
- Understanding and working knowledge of large venue, facility, or public assembly building IT/AV related operations and maintenance
- Ability to lift at least 50lbs
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Prioritize and meet strict deadlines
- Understand both verbal and written instructions in English
- Ability to work under limited supervision
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in the setup, execution, and teardown of events
- Some experience in the operation of light duty machinery (forklift, scissor lift, pallet jacks)
