Job Summary
Install, troubleshoot, assemble, repair, and maintain tooling and equipment at customer sites, including nuclear reactor components. Conduct routine field tasks operating specialized equipment, taking measurements, compiling data, and performing without error in high-stress environments. Maintain maintenance logs, certification documents, and training materials while directing technicians through on-the-job training, pre-job briefs, and performance management. Comply with all safety and health rules, including personal dose compliance, and manage conflicts to ensure safety and regulatory adherence. Requires flexible hours, shifts, and travel to remote job sites with unescorted nuclear access.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent education
- Minimum of 4 years of related experience
- Advanced knowledge in a particular field of commonly used equipment, practices and concepts
- Knowledge of company and industry safety and health policies and programs as required for specific roles
- Good communication skills to comprehend, follow direction, policies, procedures and guidelines with ability to work effectively with all levels of staff and management, vendors and customers
- Requires specific technical training and certification
- Works flexible hours and shifts, as required, to ensure timely service
- Requires travel to a variety of remote job sites
- Requires unescorted nuclear access (includes background check, psychological exam, and drug screen)
