Job Summary

Attend Intern Orientation, research potential donor prospects, and assist in the process of donor outreach, relations, and cultivation. Support the organization and drafting of grant proposals by assisting with administrative tasks of proposal development and the grant-writing process. Record hours and submit completed timesheets monthly via the IRC's online Volunteer Dashboard. This unpaid role reports to the Development and Grants Coordinator and requires proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, along with high-level writing and research skills.

  • Pursuing an undergraduate or master's degree
  • Ability to work independently and be resourceful
  • High level writing and research skills
  • Reliable, responsible, punctual and professional
  • Flexible and able to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • Comfortable working in a global setting
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
