Resource Coordinator, Supervised Release Program

Job Summary

Conduct immediate orientations for participants released to pretrial supervision and escort them to the Staten Island Justice Center office when needed. Review misdemeanor, non-violent, and violent felony cases at arraignments to gather necessary information, then provide written and verbal case updates to the court, defense attorneys, and judges regarding compliance and program status. Assist participants in court with connections to the Clinical Department and ensure all released individuals are scheduled for clinical intake. Track cases, manage multiple courtroom assignments, and maintain participant information in electronic databases and hard files. Collaborate with Clinical, Case Management, Community Engagement, and Compliance teams to facilitate accurate reporting and participant engagement with community services. Work weekday evenings and weekends in Staten Island, NY, earning $29.39-$37.36 per hour.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Minimum of one year in a related area
  • 3-4 years' experience in the criminal justice field as an equivalent
  • Excellent writing skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Skilled communicator
  • Ability to work in multi-disciplinary settings
  • Ability to maintain strong relationships with multiple agencies and organizations, both onsite and in the community
  • Enjoy working with a diverse population
