Job Summary
Provide students with instruction in core academic subject areas and inclusion support, develop and implement district-aligned lesson plans, reflect diverse learning styles, assess student progress, collaborate with special education teachers to modify curricula per IEPs, supervise teacher aides and volunteers, sponsor extracurricular activities, communicate with parents and staff, and utilize technology to enhance learning; maintain classroom environment conducive to learning, uphold Student Code of Conduct, and participate in staff development and district policies.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree from accredited university
- Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned
- Demonstrated competency in the core academic subject area assigned
