Job Summary
Conduct routine and preventative maintenance on resort facilities, rental homes, and recreational amenities to ensure physical integrity and curb appeal standards. Perform minor emergency repairs for electrical, plumbing, sewage, and construction; inspect and maintain irrigation systems, playgrounds, and pool/spa areas. Manage grounds services including lawn care, snow removal, trash collection, and amenity cleaning across clubhouses, courts, and offices. Complete daily checklists of site conditions before and after guest occupancy, report maintenance issues to the manager, and assist with contractor supervision. Operate hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery while adhering to safety procedures and responding to non-business hours needs as required.
Required Qualifications
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email and the internet
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to provide legible written reports
- Proficient skills in operating various hand tools, power equipment, and commercial machinery
- General knowledge of janitorial work, plumbing, electrical, and grounds maintenance
- Demonstrated knowledge of and broad experience in general maintenance techniques and repair work
- Ability to respond to resort needs during non-business hours while on-call
- 6 months previous maintenance experience in a campground or RV resort is preferred
