Job Summary
Oversee daily resort housekeeping operations, ensuring rental units, bath houses, offices, and meeting areas remain clean and properly maintained. Coordinate team member selection and development, inspect work performance, and place orders for cleaning materials and supplies while adhering to budget guidelines. Ensure all safety procedures are followed and respond to guest inquiries and complaints regarding housekeeping in a timely manner. This role requires flexible scheduling based on guest occupancy, season, and staffing needs. One year of prior housekeeping experience in the hospitality industry is required.
Required Qualifications
- 1-year prior housekeeping/cleaning experience, preferably in the hospitality industry
- Demonstrated knowledge of general janitorial work
- Knowledge of safety measures when using various cleaning chemicals
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multitask
- Basic computer proficiency, including the ability to use email, the internet, and Microsoft Office
- Regularly required to stand, sit or walk for an extended period of time
- Regularly required to lift and/or move up to 25 pounds
- Occasionally required to lift and/or move up to 50 pounds
- Variable scheduling availability based on guest occupancy, season, staffing and other factors
