Job Summary
Welcome guests upon arrival and perform check-in functions according to hotel policies, including handling early/late/check-ins and walk-ins; process payments, accept and distribute messages/packages/mail, generate and distribute reports (room, bucket, VIP), post charges to guest accounts and perform cashier duties (including currency exchange), respond to special guest requests (e.g., extra towels, cots, newspapers) or forward to the appropriate department; maintain a clean and safe work environment and perform other duties as requested.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum age requirement is 21
- 2-3 years customer service or reception experience preferred
- 2 years or more Front Desk experience in a similar first-class hotel preferred
- Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management
- Be able to answer phones quickly, courteously and in a professional manner
- Ensure that Guests' business is kept confidential
- The ability to operate computerized front office system
- Must be able to obtain all work cards required of the position within the property’s jurisdiction
