Job Summary
Supervise and interact with pets inside and outside resort suites while following feeding schedules and maintaining cleanliness through disinfecting, scrubbing, and waste removal. Empty trash, mop floors, and clean restrooms and common areas. Monitor and record pet information, reporting any unusual behaviors or injuries to management or veterinarians. Use proper handling techniques to keep dogs secure and adhere to safety policies. This role requires considerable physical labor, including lifting up to 60 lbs, and flexibility for days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
Required Qualifications
- This position requires a considerable amount of physical labor, including pet handling, walking, cleaning, and maintenance of the suites
- True passion for working with animals
- Cheerful, friendly, and a positive team-oriented attitude
- Comfortable being around dogs of all sizes and physically able to lift up to 60 lbs
- Flexibility to resort schedule needs including days, night, weekends, holidays, and peak times
- Ability to receive instructions and remain adaptive to change and training material
