Resort Amenities Supervisor

Job Summary

Oversee daily floor operations across assigned amenity areas, including the waterpark, activities programming, and guest engagement spaces, ensuring a safe, clean, organized, and engaging environment. Serve as a visible, hands-on leader during assigned shifts, providing real-time direction to Amenity Team Members while assigning staff based on staffing levels and operational priorities. Lead daily operational routines, including opening readiness checks, mid-day Deep Dives, and closing procedures, and reinforce Villatel Experience Academy hospitality standards through coaching and on-the-floor demonstrations. Proactively engage with guests to resolve routine issues independently and identify feedback trends for leadership. Actively supervise waterpark operations to ensure compliance with safety standards and emergency procedures, while conducting scheduled inventory checks and quality assurance walkthroughs. Partner with Housekeeping and Maintenance to address facility needs and execute special events. Complete required documentation for incidents and operational matters in accordance with established SOPs.

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Tourism, or a related field
  • Previous experience in hospitality, recreation, resort operations, waterpark operations, attractions, or guest services
  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience
  • Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, motivate, and support team members in a fast-paced, guest-focused environment
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and creating memorable guest experiences
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and effectively with guests, team members, leadership, and cross-functional partners
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, including the ability to remain composed and respond effectively to changing operational needs
  • Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining strong attention to detail, safety, and service standards
  • Ability to lead by example and maintain a visible, engaged presence throughout assigned shifts
  • Flexibility to work a varied schedule based on resort operations, including weekends, evenings, and holidays as needed

Desired Qualifications

  • Associate or bachelor's degree in Hospitality Management, Recreation, Tourism, or a related field preferred
  • Previous supervisory, team lead, or leadership experience strongly preferred
