Job Summary
Arrange, execute, and supervise all indoor and outdoor guest activities, including guided hikes, lawn games, and Kids Club programs, while ensuring privacy and safety. Facilitate events such as corporate retreats and teambuilding, manage inventory of supplies, and coordinate with Housekeeping, Maintenance, Food & Beverage, and Front Desk for smooth service delivery. Complete reservations, notify vendors, check in guests, and resolve complaints to maintain positive relations. Set up and break down activity areas, track attendance for reporting, and assist in testing new seasonal activities. Maintain knowledge of resort history, local ecology, and all departmental policies. Work flexible hours as part of the Resort Activities team, supporting resort-wide initiatives and responding promptly to guest needs at all times.
Required Qualifications
- Fluency in English both verbal and non-verbal
- Provide legible communication
- Perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy
- Communicate clearly, concisely, and effectively both orally and in writing
- Prioritize, organize, and exercise problem-solving skills
- Follow directions thoroughly
- Understand guest's service needs
- Work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team
- Work with minimal supervision
- Maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data
- Lift and move up to 50 lbs
- Possession of a high school diploma/GED
- 2 years recreation, hospitality or special event experience
- Current First Aid & CPR certification
- Able to input and access information in the property management system/computers
- Previous guest relations training
Desired Qualifications
- Degree in recreation, hospitality, tourism or natural science preferred
- Fluency in a second language, preferably Spanish
