Job Summary
Lead the wind down of trading and derivative activities (OWD) for the firm, oversee Resolution Financial Analytics (RFA) with regulatory submissions to US Agencies, and manage local wind down planning for UK entities as part of Recovery planning submissions. Develop materials for senior stakeholders, refine methodologies, and lead a UK-based team of 4. Ensure compliance with Bank of England policy on valuation capabilities in support of resolvability, coordinate regulatory submissions, and drive stakeholder communications across regions. Strong emphasis on independent work, problem solving, and cross-functional collaboration; requires proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint and ability to communicate technical concepts clearly.
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience in market or counterparty credit risk or valuations
- Experience developing qualitative models and conducting model reviews
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly, both verbally and in writing
- Experience managing a team
- Strong interpersonal and relationship-building skills, with experience engaging multiple functions and locations
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint (including PitchPro)
- Ability to take initiative and solve problems independently
- Experience in wind down planning or recovery planning (UK/US/BoE context)
