Job Summary
Respiratory Therapist II in ICU/critical care delivering complex patient care: ventilator management, aerosolized medications, arterial blood gas sampling/analysis, airway management (intubation, extubation, trach care), and coordination with healthcare team. Responsibilities include patient and family education, staff mentorship and precepting, participation in education of new employees, and adherence to safety, documentation, and evidence-based practice. Requires Bachelors or Associates in Respiratory Therapy with multiple certifications (BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP or equivalents) and NBRC-RRT eligibility/credential; 0-2 years clinical experience with a focus on critical care. Location: Laramie, WY, USA.
