Resin Technician A Shift 6:00AM - 6:30PM

Job Summary
Gather, weigh, and blend resin materials while maintaining raw material supply and organizing the grinding area. Grind material, label regrind, and assist in purging machines and cleaning hopper magnets. Connect vacuum systems to supply material and unload bulk resin trailers. Document material movement, complete paperwork, and gather lot control information for Quality Control. Monitor inventory levels, check equipment such as blenders and dye feeders, and ensure all work surfaces meet food safety standards. Report any product or process failures to supervision. Maintain a clean, safe department environment and perform other warehousing tasks. Shift runs from 6:00 AM to 6:30 PM. Forklift experience and 1-2 years of related experience required.
Required Qualifications
- Forklift experience
- Must have a thorough knowledge of the facilities inventory movement for both shipping and inventory control
- Working knowledge of computer operating systems
- Must be able to frequently lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision
- Ability to regularly sit
- Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel
- Ability to talk or hear
- Ability to frequently stand and walk on concrete
- Ability to occasionally reach with hands and arms
- Ability to occasionally stoop, bend or twist
- Ability to occasionally push, pull, and/or move materials
- Ability to follow established safety procedures

Desired Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- 1-2 years of related experience and/or training preferred
