Resiliency and Personal Development Facilitator

Job Summary
Facilitator of 2-3 day retreats focusing on personal resiliency and family/marriage enrichment for service members and families at Naval Air Station Sigonella. Leads 32+ workshops annually on topics including suicide prevention, resilience, and leadership development; administers pre/post-event feedback; collaborates with staff to develop lesson plans and contribute to new programs; promotes programs through community networking; refers clients to appropriate support services; and manages event logistics for workshops and retreats. Requires U.S. citizenship, English proficiency, a Master’s degree (or retired military with relevant experience), certifications in ASIST, SafeTALK, and The Gottman Institute’s relationship training (or willingness to obtain within 3 months), 2+ years of facilitation/counseling/education experience, and strong event coordination, leadership, and communication/organizational abilities.
Required Qualifications
- Master’s degree in Divinity, Counseling, Social Work, Education, or a related field, or be a retired U.S. Military Service Member with 20 years of service and relevant experience
- Certification (or willingness to obtain within 3 months) in ASIST, safeTALK, and The Gottman Institute's relationship training
- At least two years of experience in facilitation, counseling, education, or a related role
- Strong skills in event coordination, group leadership, and training
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Must be a U.S. citizen and proficient in English
- Resume submitted in English
