Job Summary

Set and deliver the strategic direction and growth plan for the Crisis Management and Business Continuity practice. Develop differentiated, commercially compelling propositions aligned to client needs, regulatory expectations, and emerging risks. Strengthen market leadership across crisis preparedness, business continuity, operational resilience, response, and recovery. Originate and convert opportunities through strong executive relationships and trusted-adviser engagement. Lead major proposals, pitches, and commercial negotiations. Serve as a senior technical authority and trusted adviser to boards, executives, and crisis and continuity leaders. Lead complex, high-profile engagements from scoping through delivery and executive-level presentation. Translate technical findings into practical, prioritized, and commercially relevant recommendations. Own commercial and operational performance, including profitability, utilization, pricing, and delivery governance. Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team, including capability planning, recruitment, retention, and succession. Collaborate across enterprise risk, cyber, insurance, claims, analytics, security, and industry specialists to deliver integrated client solutions. This hybrid role requires at least three days per week onsite in Melbourne or Sydney.

Required Qualifications

  • Significant experience in crisis management, business continuity, operational resilience, emergency management, risk consulting, or a related field
  • Proven experience leading a professional services practice, service line, or substantial consulting portfolio
  • Strong technical knowledge of crisis management and business continuity standards, frameworks, and operating models
  • Demonstrated experience advising boards, executives, and senior crisis and resilience stakeholders
  • A strong record of originating, developing, and converting consulting opportunities
  • Demonstrated commercial ownership across revenue, pipeline, profitability, utilization, and delivery performance
  • Experience leading complex client engagements and multidisciplinary consulting teams
  • Executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and build trust
  • The appropriate approval to work in Australia
  • Ability to complete a Criminal & Bankruptcy check prior to commencing of employment
  • Ability to work at least three days a week in the office
  • Ability to work remotely
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues in the office
  • Ability to work together in the office
