Job Summary
Conduct direct supervision of young adult males (ages 17-21) in a supportive independent living environment, maintaining constant sight and sound supervision while providing crisis intervention as needed. Cultivate a safe, healthy, therapeutic, and nurturing home environment that supports social, emotional, and academic development. Deliver Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) coaching to enhance skill use, record observations in daily logs, and monitor healthcare needs including medication compliance. Accompany residents to appointments, meetings, and recreation trips, ensuring living spaces remain organized, clean, and hazard-free. Transport adolescents and families for programmatic needs such as family visitations. As an on-call position with no guaranteed hours, you will cover full-time and part-time staff calling out, with training located in Litchfield, CT during the first week.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma/GED
- Valid driver's license
- Experience working with at-risk or court-involved adolescents
