Residential Youth Support Practitioner duties in Lowestoft Children’s Homes: provide day-to-day support to children and young people aged 11-17, promote development, safeguard wellbeing, maintain a safe environment, liaise with parents/social workers/teachers, maintain records, assist in care plan delivery, administer medication, participate in team meetings, and contribute to 24/7 fixed-shift coverage including sleep-in duties. Requirements include willingness to train, driving license/access to transport or mobility requirements, and ability to work fixed shifts; benefits include funded Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare, monthly supervision, and enhanced unsociable hours pay. Posts available across 37 hours/week and 18.5 hours/week with permanent and casual contracts.
