Job Summary
Facilitate daily life skills coaching covering budgeting, cooking, household management, and medication self-sufficiency while guiding young adults through meal planning and grocery shopping. Conduct routine property checks, prepare rooms for incoming residents, and orient new arrivals to their homes and communities. Build trusting relationships with residents, support family engagement, and create meaningful monthly activity calendars. Complete accurate daily documentation in the database, track supplies, and ensure properties remain secure and compliant with licensing standards. Participate in safety drills and read shift communication logs. This 2nd shift position runs Tuesday through Saturday from 3:00pm to 11:00pm within Monroe Harding's Independent Living program, where you serve as the steady presence helping young adults build independence.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or substantial related work experience
- Valid Tennessee Driver's License
- Willingness to engage in 40 hours of orientation training and 30+ hours of additional training in year one
- Trauma-informed care experience or strong willingness to learn
- Tuesday–Saturday, 3:00pm –11:00pm schedule
