Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live in on-campus student homes at Milton Hershey School, providing care, supervision, and development support for 8–13 students. Responsibilities include daily supervision, mentorship, managing routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, budgeting, and household reporting. The position begins with a nine-on/three-off schedule and transitions to a placed houseparent role living with the same group of students. Relocation to Hershey, PA is provided with full benefits and paid training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person couple must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Comfort leading daily devotions and Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
