Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver roles for a two-person married couple living on campus in a student home. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring a group of 8–13 students, managing household routines and student schedules, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and household reporting, and transitioning from Flex Houseparent to Placed Houseparent within an on-campus home. The position is Full-time with a schedule of nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off, provides on-site housing and comprehensive benefits, and offers relocation assistance. Both spouses must be legally married for at least two years, be at least 27 years old, and jointly complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lead students in daily devotions and Sunday Chapel (Judeo-Christian)
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; role models for students
- Relocation provided to Hershey, PA on-site housing included
