Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role at Milton Hershey School entails a two-person, on-campus position as Flex Houseparents who live with 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and structured routines. Responsibilities include supervising routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and chapel attendance, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from nine days on/three days off to a placed houseparent arrangement. This role is full-time with relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits; couples must be legally married for at least two years and both spouses must be aged 27 or older. Training and housing are provided as part of the compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Two-spouse, two-year marriage minimum
- Age 27 or older for both spouses
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- Compliance with campus policies (smoke-free, weapon-free, no alcohol on duty)
- Commitment to Judeo-Christian chapel and devotions
