Job Summary
Full-time Flex Houseparents for Milton Hershey School: a married couple residing on campus to care for a group of 8–13 students, providing supervision, mentorship, and support to foster academic, emotional, and social development. Responsibilities include daily supervision, managing household routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and progressing to a placed houseparent role living with the same student group. Benefits include salary per person of $44,768 (total approx. $168,000 per couple with housing, meals, utilities, and more), comprehensive health benefits, relocation assistance, paid time off, and training.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for married couple
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Comfort leading daily devotions and chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus
- No alcohol on duty
- Two spouses aged 27 or older
- Experience with youth preferred
