Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for two-person, married couple living on Milton Hershey School campus in Hershey, PA. Provide care, guidance, supervision, and programming for 8–13 students in on-campus homes, including supervising routines, administering medications, driving students to activities, planning developmental and recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, and managing household budgets. Initially nine days on duty followed by three days off, with eventual transition to a Placed Houseparent living with the same group. Relocation assistance and comprehensive benefits included; salary per person is $44,768 with total couple compensation around $168,000 when housing, meals, and utilities are included. Requires two individual applications from both spouses.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Additional Requirements
- Must be legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
