Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver duties involve living on campus with a group of 8–13 students, providing daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance; managing household routines and student schedules; administering medications; transporting students to activities; planning and leading developmental and recreational activities; leading daily devotions and chapel attendance; overseeing budgeting and reporting; initially supporting multiple homes on a fixed nine-on/three-off schedule and progressing to a placed houseparent in a dedicated student home. Requires a two-person married couple, both aged 27+, with a high school diploma or GED, valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, experience with youth, and willingness to relocate to on-campus housing in Hershey, PA (and related relocation support). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- Valid U.S. driver’s license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
