Job Summary
Residential Youth Caregiver role for married couples to live in on-campus student homes as Full-time Flex Houseparents. Responsibilities include supervising and mentoring 8–13 students, managing household routines, administering medications, transporting students to activities, planning and engaging in developmental/recreational activities, leading daily devotions and Sunday Chapel, overseeing budgeting and reporting, and transitioning from initial nine-days-on/three-days-off schedule toward a placed houseparent arrangement. Requires experience with youth, a valid driver’s license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and a high school diploma or GED. Relocation to Hershey, PA is required; benefits include medical/dental/vision, retirement options, paid training, relocation assistance, and housing/meal provisions while on duty. For consideration, both spouses must complete individual applications.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- Two-spouse requirement for the role
- Valid U.S. driver’s license
- Ability to lift 50 lbs
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Requirements
- Two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol on duty
- Relocation to Hershey, PA required
