Job Summary
Provide daily supervision, mentorship, and guidance for 8–13 students in on-campus homes while managing household routines and schedules. Administer medications, oversee budgeting and reporting, and drive students to activities. Plan and lead recreational events, daily devotions, and Sunday Chapel services. Transition from supporting multiple homes to a Placed Houseparent role with a dedicated group. Work nine consecutive days on duty followed by three days off. Requires a valid U.S. driver's license, ability to lift 50 lbs, and adherence to a smoke-free, weapon-free campus policy. Both spouses must be married for at least two years, be 27 or older, and hold a high school diploma or GED.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working or volunteering with youth
- This is a two-person role for couples legally married for at least two years
- Both spouses must be age 27 or older
- No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
- Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans
- High school diploma or GED required
- Ability to lift to 50 lbs.
Desired Qualifications
- Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol permitted while on duty
- Comfort leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing prohibited)
